So we all know that plaid is 'in' now a days so I decided to do a little post on how much I <3 it right now also. I guess I'm conforming to the fashion world but not where I live because apparently nobody in my part of suburbia dresses like me. I supposedly belong in New York which is great because I LOVE NEW YORK! But anyway sorry I haven't been keeping up with my blog lately I've just been working longgg ass hours at work and my son is getting terribly exhausting! Love you all !

There comes a time in a person's life where you feel like your just getting old, and I guess that's how you feel when you turn 30! Me and a whole bunch of cousins and friends celebrated my cousin Charleen's 30th birthday on Sunday at Lava Gina in NYC. Not only do I absolutely LOVE the city but I LOVE partying in the city! Here's a glimpse of the night, showing what I wore & the party.
So I'm sure you guys heard of the Jollibee that opened in Woodside, NY and I'm just dieing to gooo !! It so reminds me of the homeland and how much I love it there. Can't wait to go have some and I can't wait to go back to the Philippines in June! Jollibee and Baby here I come!
Last night me and a whole bunch of friends/cousins went to Lucky Cheng's in NYC to celebrate my cousin Paul's 22nd birthday. It was absolutely AMAZING and well worth the $32/person to eat. Entertainment was crazy fun with a whole bunch of wild drags dancing and making fun all over the place! I've never been to a place like that before and it was one of the most memorable nights of the year so far! Thanks to everyone who made the night so freakin' exciting and thanks to the alcohol that infused me with extra happiness! Here's a sneak peak of the night.
You can pretty much imagine the rest.
On another note, today is Valentine's Day and I'm a bit saddened that my fiancee is on the other side of the world right now so we can't spend this day together. However, it's all good because going to the city always makes me feel better no matter how bad of a mood I'm in. NYC today again! <3 it.
So by now I'm sure all of you have heard about the Rhianna/Chris Brown fight, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is devastated by this. Not only have I been in those shoes before, but no woman deserves to ever be hit by anyone ever, especially by a man. I thought I'd just make a quick post in honor of everyone who supports Rhianna and her will to be a strong woman. We got your back RhiRhi!
I hope all is not as it seems, but regardless we woman have to stand up and never back down to anyone. Peace and Love.
I was browsing through the Spring Summer 09' Marc by Marc Jacobs collection and I decided to share with you all my two favorite looks/upcoming trends from this particular line. First is the playsuit which seems to be making a huge come back from back in the good ol' days. It's retro vibe brings back memories of when my mom had no idea how to dress, but this one by Marc Jacobs brings a more modern, girly, and fun twist. And I'm clearly loving the idea of layered belts.
Skyway multi Selma stripe mix playsuit, Periwinkle oxford stripe voile shirt, Ceylon rose multi paisley park patchwork belt, Indigo multi pocket belt
Second is the jacket and dress combo. This I know is going to be a real popular trend this coming spring/summer season simply because adding the right jacket to the right dress just kicks the chic notch up a whole lot. Add a perfect pair of heels/sandals and your good to go! This one is my favorite look.
SF wash ashbourne denim jacket, Stormy grey multi crosstown stripe print dress
so i've been going to the gym almost everyday for a little bit now and i've lost a little weight but i'm still shooting for the dramatic results you know like in the commercials LOL so hopefully you'll follow me through this excruciating journey and we'll all be happy in the end!
"The most beautiful clothes that can dress a woman are the arms of the man she loves. But for those who haven't had the fortune of finding this happiness, I am there." - Yves St. Laurent ......
Long story short - I'm obsessed with shoes and clothes.
Being a mother DOES NOT mean giving up yourself. Being a mom empowers you to become a better you while teaching another one to be just as good as you are. No where does it say that when you become a mother you have to give up on looking good and feeling sexy. So, to all those mamas out there who believe they're losing themselves, STEP OUT AND ALLOW YOUR SELF TO BE SEXY & BE A BEAUTIFUL MAMA.
